Expanded cork panels are manufactured by the Portuguese company Amorim. They represent a natural, sustainable, and in many ways superior alternative to polystyrene or mineral wool. These panels are used in the following applications:

  • Thermal and acoustic insulation of horizontal and vertical partitions, both inside and outside buildings
  • Thermal and acoustic insulation of terraces, flat and pitched roofs
  • Filling of expansion joints and gaps
  • Thermal insulation of cold rooms and refrigeration chambers
  • Thermal insulation of pipelines
  • Vibration insulation for the foundations of machinery and equipment
  • Base material for bonding with other materials such as aluminum, metal, plywood, etc.
  • Material for decorating terrariums and vivariums (animal enclosures)

General product features:

  • 100% natural and eco-friendly material
  • Virtually unlimited lifespan
  • Technical parameters remain stable over time
  • Excellent dimensional stability over many years
  • Does not emit toxic gases in case of fire
  • Resistant to many chemicals, insects, and rodents
  • 100% recyclable
